I jumped on the Color Affection bandwagon last February, when I received my gorgeous and amazing Primo Fingering kit from The Plucky Knitter. I was totally taken with the “Neapolitan” kit, with colors right up my alley: Oatmeal, Bashful (pink), and Smokey the Bear (a chocolate-y brown). Turns out that Neapolitan is as delicious to knit with as it is to eat.
And the pattern is popular for good reason. It’s fun and easy to knit (I knit the whole thing while simultaneously reading The Hunger Games trilogy), and the finished product is just so darn versatile:
Doesn’t it look pretty wrapped like a scarf?
I knit this up on size 7s, which put me at a larger gauge than the pattern. I ran out of the Oatmeal because of this, but a kind raveler sent me enough to get me finished. The larger gauge also meant this thing is even bigger than expected!
