Just in time to knit yourself a little something for Valentine’s Day, I’ve released a new pattern as part of my Shameless Collection .
I knit this up with just half a skein (that’s 125 yards, y’all!) of Stonehedge Shepherd’s Wool (worsted) in “Baby Pink.” You can make one for yourself and still have enough leftover to make one for a friend. Wouldn’t that be a nice V-Day surprise?
This cowl features the same Diamond Cable design as my Shameless Mitts and Shameless Slouch patterns do. I just haven’t gotten tired of it yet! I’ve noticed similar designs all over commercial knitwear lately, too. So maybe I’m just highly suggestible, who knows. It also features the nubby seed stitch that I’m kind of obsessed with.
It’s slouchy enough that it doesn’t feel like it’s strangling me, but not so loose that it doesn’t provide any warmth. And it stands up enough that it’s super-snuggly around the chin and ears.
The pattern includes both charted and written instructions, and can be purchased alone or as part of the Shameless Collection. It also comes free with the purchase of the Shameless Slouch hat pattern.
You can find the pattern on Ravelry here .
This is beautiful! So classic!
I love this cowl so, so much!
Beautiful – I love it!
