hibernating :: Handspun Mitered Cross Blanket

Here’s a little bit of the project I mentioned in my last post. I fell in love with the Mitered Crosses Blanket pattern when it was released last March – I knew immediately that I wanted to do one in handspun (even though I rarely make blankets). I’m using my handspun Hello Yarn Targhee in “Parritch” as the background color and my handspun combo of Hello Yarn Rambouillet in “Pallid” and FLUFF Rambouillet in “Ripe Eggplant” as the contrast color. I’m pretty much straight-up in love with this square.

  1. A woman in my parish knit a queen sized blanket..I think she would love this pattern. I may even try it! But first I have to see if I can knit the sweater for my god daughters…I have three rows done, after having to knit the gauge swatch three times lol…
