Actually, the activity I put in the envelope was “Buy food children like for the church food drive.” But we had such a long, full day, and I was so tired by the time we got home, that I realized I didn’t have it in me to go back out and go grocery shopping – especially with two kids in tow. Little Buddha insisted that I come up with an Advent activity, even if it was something we had already done that day. So we thought about it and decided that buying goodies from the school bake sale and eating them was a highlight of the day. So there ya go.
