The boys were really excited to pull this activity out of the calendar – the tree has been sitting naked in the living room for a week. They really got into “helping” this year, and I had to reign in my more critical sensibilities.
We got a Noble Fir this year, and though the tree itself is beautiful, I found it a bit more difficult to decorate than our usual Fraser Fir, simply because it’s a bit denser. I also need to remember for next year to buy more lights. Way more.
